The Nurtury Admission Procedures

The Nurtury accepts children regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sex or national origin. It is a private, non-profit pre-school/day care program. The Nurtury offers a full-time socially oriented program for children 2-5 years of age. It is The Nurtury’s policy to give enrollment priority to single parent families, working parent families, state-subsidized families and alumni siblings.

Interested parents may apply for admission to the Nurtury by filling out the Application form and paying a non-refundable application fee. Every attempt is made to keep an ethnically and culturally balanced student body. Paying the application fee does not guarantee a child’s admission in the program due to the small capacity of the school and other criteria as stated above. Every effort is made to get interested families into the program as soon as an opening becomes available.

Once an opening is confirmed, the parent must come in and leave a two week deposit to hold the spot and to pick up the necessary paperwork that will be needed for the child’s file before the first day of enrollment. Request for exemptions from immunizations based upon personal beliefs or medical reasons are reviewed on a case by case basis.
