Back-To-School Night 2017

Summer is officially over and a new school year has officially started.   Each year, during the first week of October, we hold our annual Back-To-School Night for our all of our families.  This is a chance for parents to learn more about our curriculum and any additional topics or focus they may include during the year.  We have a child-centered curriculum and program so our approach to teaching concepts vary every year based on the interests and developmental growth of the children currently enrolled in the class.  This also allows for new and returning families to get to know each other.  The small group discussion for each class enables families to ask very specific questions about their child’s class and also interact with their child’s teacher/s.  Aside from our philosophy and curriculum, Back-To-School Night also offers information about age-specific skills such as self-help, social-emotional, language, cognitive/problem-solving, gross and fine motor, Kindergarten-readiness, parent-teacher conferences, partnering with the school and teachers; and many more.
